Meet Coach Louie // Head Boxing Coach

"My name is Louie Betancourt, I am 33 years old. I am a father of three children two boys and a girl. I grew up in in the EastSide with both of my parents and 3 siblings. Both of my parents are from Mexico so I was raised in a traditional way with the strong culture.My father was into martial arts before I was born and he began studying it in the late 80’s. As I got older I was pulled towards it. He began to take me when I was about 7 years old. I never took it to serious and eventually lost interest. I did some boxing here and there back in high school but again lost interest. A little after high school I got invited to my buddy’s gym Chris Hartman so I tried it out. Since then I’ve been practicing Muay Thai and boxing for about ten years or so."
