Adrian’s grandfather was one of the wrestling Coaches for a Junior Wrestling program in California and began coaching him when he was 5 years old. He competed in Junior Wrestling throughout his youth and placed in the majority of tournaments he competed in. He was on the varsity wrestling team for the entire four years he competed. He placed 5th in the New Mexico state tournament as a Junior. He placed 3rd in the New Mexico state tournament, beating the previous 2x NM state champion and finished the year with a record of 35-4. As an adult, he utilized my wrestling skills in MMA career. As an amateur, he had 10 fights with an 8-2 record. As a professional, he had 10 professional fights with a 7-2-1 record. During his time MMA training, he earned his No-Gi brown belt under the Machado Lineage.

Adrian began coaching wrestling at the gym he was training MMA at. He coached children and adults on how to implement wrestling for Jiu Jitsu and MMA. He started coaching junior wrestling 5 years ago when his son Zaiden became of age. During that time he was a part of the coaching staff who won the team state championship and was runner-up twice. Adrian coached multiple state champions and placing wrestlers, including his sons, Zaiden and Phoenix.
